Yes! You can rent a stair lift from some stair lift dealers. A rental stair lift can be a great option for many circumstances. Some of the circumstances that our customers have rented a stair lift for include:

Whatever your circumstance may be, if you plan on needing a stair lift for a limited amount of time, renting may be the best option. Rental stair lifts offer a few advantages over purchasing a new or used stair lift.
The first and most obvious difference is the cost. We cannot speak for other companies, but here at Options HME Stair Lifts, we keep our stair lift rental program simple. There is a cost for the initial installation, and then each month afterwards, a rental payment of $100 to $200, depending on the model.
Second is the timing and ease of removal. We do not ask you to commit to or sign up for a lengthy rental agreement. Instead, you can rent the stair lift for much or a little time as you need. Only need it for a month or two? Not an issue. Need it for the next 2 years? Also no problem. This means that whenever you are done using the lift, simply give us a call and we will pick it up. You no longer owe us any money and we don’t owe any to you, the rental agreement is terminated at that time.
Third is maintenance. When renting a stair lift from us, the parts and labor cost of any repairs (caused by normal use) are covered by Options HME Stair Lifts. So, should an issue arise, there will be no additional cost to you. This keeps your lift in top working order for as long as you decide to rent it.
When considering who to rent a stair lift from, keep in mind that it is something that you’ll most often find available through local dealers like Options HME Stair Lifts. Most of the overseas companies and internet resellers do not offer any kind of rental program. Additionally, keep in mind what type of stair lift you will be trying to rent. Because of the custom nature of curved stair lifts and the niche nature of outdoor stair lifts, very few if any dealers will rent curved or outdoor stair lifts. However, indoor straight stair lifts are rented quite often.
